Your primary responsibility will be to maintain thousands of miles of fuel and water lines across our military bases.

About the Role

As a Water Systems Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing plumbing, wastewater collection systems, liquid fuel storage, and natural gas distribution systems on every base. This requires specialized training in operational principles and safety measures, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair fuel and water lines, including plumbing and wastewater collection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Be at least 17 years old and not have reached your 42nd birthday (as of your enlistment date).
  • Obtain a valid driver's license to operate government motor vehicles.
  • Possess normal color vision and freedom from fear of confined spaces and heights.
  • Complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training.
  • Achieve an ASVAB score of 65 or higher, with minimum scores of 47 Mechanical and 28 Electronics.
