About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at Nxt Property Management. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all properties are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance needs are met and that properties are properly maintained.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance and facilities operations, with a strong background in supervisory or management roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address maintenance issues and concerns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols, with the ability to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, with the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Experience with maintenance software and other technology systems, with the ability to use these tools to manage maintenance tasks and schedules.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance staff.
