Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Indiana University Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in performing ultrasound procedures for radiological diagnosis, working with patients from pediatric to geriatric age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and operate equipment, positioning patients correctly to record diagnostic images.
  • Treat patients with care and respect, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Follow physician instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Meet certification requirements through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI, as applicable.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Active status through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI, as required by facility accreditation.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
