Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse on our Cardiac Medical Nursing Team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a medical surgical environment. Your duties will include assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of Medical and CV/Cardiac patients, instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintaining and reviewing patients' records, and administering medications in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire. You should also have a nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred, previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred, and current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Additionally, you should possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
