Dance Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team at Crystal Lake Park District. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and teaching dance classes to children and adults of all ages.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality dance classes that cater to diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, creativity, and self-expression.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages participants to reach their full potential.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching dance, preferably in a community setting.
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques, including ballet, modern, and jazz.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
