Position Overview

This role is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to both internal and external guests consistently. The individual will assist in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations, hallways, housekeeping storage areas, and linen closets, along with other designated spaces. This position is fully committed to upholding departmental and company standards while serving as a representative of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all services, features, and local attractions to effectively respond to guest inquiries.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and adaptability, ensuring all assigned cleaning tasks are completed; regularly check in with supervisors for additional duties during the shift.
  • Restock cleaning carts, housekeeping storage, linen closets, and public areas with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
  • Oversee and uphold safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping linen and storage areas, and public spaces as assigned (e.g., remove trash and linens, wipe down surfaces, vacuum carpets, sweep and wax floors, relocate items to appropriate storage).
  • Adhere to established procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or moving materials, including the cleanup of hazardous substances in compliance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.
  • Ensure accurate key control and maintain effective security for all keys, buildings, and vehicles.
  • Report any damages or maintenance issues following proper protocols.
  • Manage lost and found items according to departmental and company guidelines.
  • Punctually report to work as per the scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of six months of relevant experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in a hospitality setting, particularly within a Four Diamond quality establishment, is preferred.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in basic English.
  • Availability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
