About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Interim HealthCare in Bellevue, WA.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Skilled Nursing Facility environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement the nursing care plan for each patient, observe signs and symptoms, and report to the physician and RN.
- Medication Management: Prepare residents' medications for short-term absences, following state regulations.
- Clinical Support: Participate in medical record audits, attend staff meetings, patient care conferences, and in-services as scheduled.
- Documentation: Document any changes in resident status in Progress Notes and review them regularly.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A current unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in WA state.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced SNF environment.
