">Job Summary
">We are seeking an Industrial Coatings Assistant to join our team at West Coast Chem in Stanwood, WA. As an Industrial Coatings Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in preparing surfaces for painting, learning and applying various painting techniques, mixing and matching paint colors, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and participating in training sessions to develop painting skills and knowledge of industry standards.

- Assist in surface preparation by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required.">
- Learn and apply different painting techniques under the guidance of experienced painters.">
- Mix and match paint colors according to project specifications.">
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.">
- Help set up and tear down painting equipment and materials.">
- Participate in training sessions to develop painting skills and knowledge of industry standards.">
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.">
Qualifications

- Strong willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.">
- Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials is a plus but not required.">
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and standing for extended periods.">
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.">
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility in Stanwood, WA.">
- Must be at least 18 years old.">
