Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) play a vital role in providing person-centered care to residents at Accura HealthCare of Marshalltown. As a CMA, you will be responsible for administering medications, assessing information, and performing treatments in coordination with the resident's care plan, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as delegated by the nurse
  • Assess resident information and perform treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification
Requirements
  • Current CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification)
  • Ability to perform the Essential Functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
