We are seeking a skilled Turf Equipment Technician to join our team at MTI Distributing, Inc. in Berkeley, Missouri. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our turf equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain turf equipment according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Diagnostic and Repair Services: Diagnose and repair complex issues with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Quality Control: Operate and test equipment to ensure quality standards are met and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
- Tool Management: Safely and effectively use all service and repair tools, including hoists, welders, test equipment, pressure washers, compressors, and power tools.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to meet customer needs and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Education and Experience: Technical degree (2-year) or equivalent experience required. Demonstrated experience in diagnosing problems with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and diagnostic software. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service and communication skills.
