Job Summary

The Mobility Technician is a vital member of the interprofessional healthcare team, responsible for assisting clinical staff in providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with mobility needs, including transferring, lifting, and positioning
  • Perform delegated activities, such as infection control processes and basic clerical functions
  • Transport patients to and from treatment areas, ensuring safe and efficient movement
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare software
