Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer/Principal Process Engineer to join our team at KOHLER. As a key member of our Process Engineering group, you will be responsible for driving continuous manufacturing process improvement initiatives to meet divisional objectives and enhance our competitive position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate process and quality improvement initiatives to streamline operations, improve quality, and reduce costs.
  • Analyze present manufacturing operations and implement improvements to methods, equipment, layouts, etc.
  • Develop and implement information technology solutions to minimize data entry and improve data accuracy.
  • Develop, document, and implement a robust material and process control system.
  • Partner with Quality and Production teams to enforce adherence to the system.
  • Support/lead higher-level efforts including long-term strategy, sustainability, and capital planning for the division.
  • Supervise the process engineering team and coordinate their individual projects.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in engineering, management, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, quality, or related technical environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful supervision of an engineering, production, or technical team.
  • Proven experience in developing and driving change through continuous improvement and/or quality systems.
