Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a skilled and driven Cardiac Technician. Our dynamic work environment fosters collaboration and innovation, and we are committed to enhancing healthcare quality and patient experiences.   • This is a hybrid role, requiring a reliable internet connection.
  • In-office attendance is required at least 2 days a week, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Candidates must reside within a specified distance from our operational hub.

Available Work Shifts:

  • Evening Shift: 2 PM – 12:30 AM with a 15% shift differential.
  • Availability for alternating weekend shifts is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, interpret, and report on 90-second ECG strips in a fast-paced setting.
  • Continuously enhance clinical expertise, particularly in ECG rhythm interpretation.
  • Ensure the quality assurance of reports provided to healthcare professionals, making necessary modifications as requested.
  • Effectively communicate critical findings to medical professionals both verbally and in writing.
  • Engage with patients via telephone to secure follow-up transmissions as needed.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and Good Clinical Practices.
  • Maintain compliance with specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification.
  • Meet or exceed established productivity and quality metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a telemetry technician, holter scanner, or a related specialty requiring ECG interpretation, or equivalent educational background with completion of an advanced ECG interpretation course.
  • High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree or 2 years of college coursework is preferred.
  • Current CCT certification and/or RN/Paramedic License or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in rhythm interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, data collection, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology specific to cardiology is advantageous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in PC usage.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to work remotely from home within the specified distance from our operational hub.
