Job Title: High School Woodshop Teacher

Job Summary:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Woodshop Teacher to join our team in Vermont. This is a full-time, contracted position for the academic year, focusing on delivering a hands-on, engaging curriculum that inspires students to explore the world of woodworking and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive woodshop curriculum aligned with educational standards.
• Provide hands-on instruction in woodworking techniques, safety procedures, and project management.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and skill development.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow and improve.
• Maintain a safe and organized workshop space, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Woodworking, Industrial Arts, or a related field.
• Teaching certification (or eligibility) in the state of Vermont.
• Experience in teaching woodworking or related subjects preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage high school students effectively.
• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
