Store Cashier

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Cashier II to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, and assisting with receiving and stocking merchandise.

• Provide courteous and efficient service to customers
• Process transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register
• Maintain a clean and organized food and beverage area
• Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise
• Train lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations
• Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and coworkers

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred
• Computer/POS knowledge required
• Cash handling skills required
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
