Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-pour inspections to ensure conformance with PCI standards and design specifications.
- Conduct post-pour inspections of cast products to verify quality and accuracy.
- Perform wet and hardened testing on materials used in product manufacturing.
- Prepare concrete specimens for testing and regularly perform tests for slump, temperature, unit weight, air content, and cylinder strength.
- Assist with tensioning of cable to record elongations and ensure cable is tensioned as designed.
- Conduct cylinder strength tests to ensure they meet intended strength.
- Perform aggregate gradations and sieve analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain complete Quality Control documentation for inspections and testing performed.
- Identify and record quality issues and work with Production to resolve those issues.
- Act in a professional manner that demonstrates good character and trustworthiness.
- Complete special projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- General math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures that need to be followed.
- Ability to work with others to complete projects efficiently.
- Must be motivated and self-driven to complete tasks.
- Ability to understand and accept changes implemented to become best-in-class.
- Ability to work in a moderate to high-risk production environment.
- Ability to work in wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions.
- Ability to work outside year-round.
