Job Summary

As a highly skilled OB/GYN Physician, you will provide quality and comprehensive prenatal and gynecologic care to patients at Harmony Healthcare Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing healthcare organization and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

* Provides quality and comprehensive prenatal and gynecologic care to patients.
* Responsible for providing consultations requested by the primary care provider.
* Works closely with the primary care provider to ensure that the patient is getting the best in comprehensive medical care.
* Participates in continuous improvement and other activities necessary to implement the multi-disciplinary patient-centered medical home approach for the care of patients.
* Assists in expanding and enhancing the patient services by participating in outreach and community screenings.
* Participates in case management and patient surveys in maintaining quality assurance.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

* Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.
* Board certified or board eligible status.
* At least 1-2 years of experience preferred.
* Ability to travel to other sites for coverage as needed.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole/French required.
