Gosnold, Inc. is a nationally accredited non-profit leader in the prevention, treatment, and recovery of mental health and substance use disorders.
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to oversee our Partial Hospital Program (PHP), who possesses experience facilitating groups and has knowledge in treating dual diagnosis and mental health disorders in a partial hospital setting.
This role requires the ability to function independently, manage crises, and understand various levels of psychiatric care.
About YouThe ideal candidate will be a master's level clinician with experience and expertise in treating patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
You will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work well on a multidisciplinary team, and possess a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an addiction, mental health treatment program or Partial Hospital Program or group counseling is required, along with one to two years of supervisory experience.
Your Key Responsibilities- Facilitate staff meetings and clinical rounds
- Supervise chart audits and oversee maintenance of patient notes
- Supervise clinical staff and graduate students
- Carry a caseload of four to five patients depending on census
- Complete patient assessments; provide diagnosis, treatment planning, case management, and discharge planning services
- Perform utilization reviews
- Lead groups focused on mental health and substance use disorders
- Ensure compliance with standards of outside credentialing agencies such as insurers, the Joint Commission, and the Department of Public Health
- Work in conjunction with insurance requirements
