MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician for a travel assignment in Tallahassee, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Echo Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in cardiac technology and ultrasound interpretation. The Echo Technician will work under the direction of supervising physicians in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, preparing patients for examinations, performing echocardiography studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform echocardiography studies
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of echocardiography studies
  • Maintain accurate records of patient echo studies
  • Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, and other physicians
  • Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program
