Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Filter Press Operator to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sludge treatment equipment to purify water to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain sludge treatment equipment, including filter presses, pumps, and other machinery.
  • Monitor and control process parameters to ensure water quality meets customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience in a related position and environment preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Basic mathematical calculations and computer skills required.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
