Job Responsibilities and Qualifications The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing and administering radioactive compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals. You will conduct patient imaging procedures utilizing advanced radiation-detecting equipment. You will provide images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic purposes.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- State Registered Radiologic Technologist certification.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification.
- Associate Degree or completion of a Vocational School program.
HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, established in 1974, is a 317-bed acute care facility offering a broad spectrum of surgical and medical services.
