We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at The Wonderful Company. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as reviewing Key Performance Indicators.
Key Responsibilities- Month-End Close Activities: Prepare and post journal entries, prepare account reconciliations, analyze variances, and draw conclusions from available data.
- Financial Statement Support: Assist with the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Business Insights: Provide financial and business-related analysis and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, working capital, and investments.
- Special Projects: Perform special projects and ad hoc requests, such as supporting the year-end audit, internal financial reporting, compliance initiatives, and tax filings.
- Process Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and best practices within business units to drive efficiency.
- Executive Support: Prepare and present management reports to high-level executives, sharing your rotation experience and providing valuable insights.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
