The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant is a proficient technical professional who delivers direct care services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administer physical therapy interventions to residents based on treatment strategies established by the Physical Therapist.

2. Support the Physical Therapist during assessments, evaluations, and intricate treatment methodologies.

3. Monitor, document, and communicate to the therapist the conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned responsibilities.

4. Keep daily logs of treatments and record progress notes on residents as instructed by the therapist.

5. Assist with the initial screening of new admissions.

Qualifications

1. Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

2. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in accordance with state regulations.

3. Preferably experienced in a setting catering to a similar demographic of residents.
