**Job Title:** Data Analyst Apprenticeship Program
Company Overview:
ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. We provide thought leadership for complex issues through independent analysis, and we deliver practical, useful solutions. ANSER values collaboration, integrity, and initiative and we are client-focused in all that we do.
We were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, which means our success is measured in the impact of our service.
Program Overview:
Our Analyst Apprenticeship Program offers exciting opportunities to recent masters program graduates who have limited work experience but want to focus on enhancing and applying their analytic, technical, and business skills in support of critical National missions. During the apprenticeship, emphasis will be placed on developing critical professional competencies through execution of a range of technical and business-related tasks and activities.
This includes attendance at different technical trainings, lunch and learn sessions, and other presentations; part-time support to appropriate client projects (if available); and one-on-one mentoring aimed at understanding ANSER's culture, corporate operations, and requirements of working in a professional environment with government clients.
Transition to Full-Time Client Work:
After 3 months of apprenticeship and mentoring, AAP analysts are transitioned to ANSER divisions that match their academic training and practical experience areas for full-time client work in support of various government agencies and missions.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
- Masters degree. Fields of particular interest include engineering (in particular, microelectronics, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, systems, industrial, and digital engineering), data analytics, and policy sciences (e.g., political science, government, and international relations)

- Experience with various qualitative and quantitative analysis methods
- Experience with analytic and machine learning software (e.g., STATA, KUMU, VENSIM, Databricks, and TensorFlow) from academic and technical areas of practice
