Position: Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician at Franciscan Physician Network

Candidate Profile:

We are in search of a committed Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to enhance our services at the Franciscan Physician Network Obstetrics & Gynecology Lafayette clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive maternal and fetal healthcare with an emphasis on prenatal assessment and intervention
  • Uphold exemplary clinical practices and ensure patient satisfaction
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Foster strong connections with patients and the surrounding community

What to Anticipate:

  • Clinic operating hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Consultative role only, excluding prenatal care or deliveries
  • Robust referral network
  • Average outpatient caseload: 6 to 10 patients daily
  • Inpatient consultations conducted at a single facility featuring a Level 3 NICU
  • Opportunity to perform various procedures, including Amniocentesis
  • Access to advanced diagnostic equipment such as GE Voluson E10
  • Close proximity to specialized fetal care centers

  • Doctorate in Medicine Required
