About the JobWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Telemetry RN at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.
This is a part-time night shift position, working 24 hours per week. As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical patient care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. You will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care, and supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated.
You will be accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
The ideal candidate will have effective interpersonal and communication skills and be able to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated
- Support CNO to ensure high-quality nursing care
- Provide education and training to staff as needed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Massachusetts RN license
- Current CPR certification
- At least 1 year of experience in a telemetry unit
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A competitive hourly rate of $65-$80 per hour, depending on experience
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
- A 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000
