Woodinville, Washington, United States Amazon Web Services, Inc. Full time

Job Overview:
| Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Are you a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to customer success? Do you possess the strategic insight, Cloud Operations experience, and negotiation skills required to position AWS as the preferred cloud solution for clients? If you are passionate about developing innovative, data-driven business strategies, consider joining the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Cloud Governance team as a Business Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and its implementation for Cloud Governance on a global scale, working closely with various teams including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
- Utilize your knowledge in Cloud Governance to identify critical customer challenges in your region and empower account-aligned teams to address them effectively.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at expanding market presence, creating scalable programs to enhance adoption, and uncovering new opportunities within your area of expertise.
- Establish and pursue objectives to foster long-term growth in your region, while achieving or surpassing revenue and non-revenue driven key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Gather customer insights and market trends to relay back to Worldwide teams, ensuring the development of relevant features and services that meet customer needs.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews and operational plans for your specific technology domain and region.
- Drive geographical expansion through collaboration with external partners; work alongside cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to implement customer acquisition strategies.

A Day in the Life:
This role will be instrumental in shaping the GTM strategy for AWS Cloud Governance. We design sales initiatives, leverage partnerships, and create new programs that deliver value to our customers.

We provide essential feedback from clients to guide our product development roadmap and collaborate closely with our partner ecosystem to support our customers' objectives.

In emerging sectors, we play a pivotal role as the initial teams to establish markets for new services, domains, or solutions.

When clients seek to innovate and require new ways to utilize AWS, they rely on us to partner in their innovation journey.

About the Team:

We develop and test hypotheses and are open to being challenged.
We explore to create space for simplifying complexities.

We continuously collect and analyze data to adapt to changing customer needs and prioritize effectively.
We utilize existing and develop new mechanisms to assist customers at the pace of their business.
We are action-oriented, believing that sharing and learning through iteration leads to superior outcomes more swiftly.
We collaborate with other teams to design and implement cross-service, global initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- Proven experience in formulating strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in interpreting data and making informed business recommendations.
- Proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
