Job Overview:


The Certified Nursing Assistant, under the guidance of the supervisor, delivers outstanding service to patients and visitors through friendly interactions, effective communication, and information dissemination.

This role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, providing fundamental nursing care, and helping maintain a safe and hygienic environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities encompass indirect patient care tasks within the nursing unit, such as aiding with toileting, oral hygiene, positioning, bathing, rehabilitation care, and dressing.

This position is also responsible for organizing and managing unit supplies essential for daily operations, preparing and maintaining patient documentation, and performing data entry into the electronic health record system.

The Certified Nursing Assistant will adeptly handle multiple activities that influence patient care while ensuring exceptional service to patients, visitors, healthcare providers, and staff. Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant and registration on the appropriate Nursing Assistant Registry
  • Minimum age of 18 years and ability to meet physical job requirements
  • Current BLS/CPR certification is required
  • Strong focus on customer service with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities as needed
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in navigating Windows-based computer systems
  • Previous experience with electronic medical records is preferred; familiarity with specific systems is a plus

Schedule & Benefits:
This position offers a 48-hour straight Day schedule with 12-hour shifts and is fully benefits eligible.
