Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic Projects: The Senior Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of critical projects on time, within scope, and budget, adhering to TBG's governance frameworks.
  • Strategic Alignment: Focus on strategic alignment, risk management, and driving value through efficient project execution.
  • Project Governance: Develop and govern the Project Management Methodology to ensure alignment with TBG's corporate objectives and business goals.
  • PMO Leadership: Manage the PMO team, overseeing project delivery and ensuring work aligns with project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish project business cases, timelines, resource allocation, and change management integration.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Foster innovation, identify opportunities to drive strategic improvements in project management practices and processes across the organization.
  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop future project leaders, fostering leadership growth within the project management team.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with the TMO's project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Lead data-driven decision-making efforts, utilizing key insights to monitor project health and adjust strategies to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Risk and Crisis Management: Oversee risk and crisis management by developing contingency plans and ensuring the team is prepared to handle potential disruptions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on project deliverables and shared objectives throughout the organization.
  • Reporting and Standardization: Regularly report to the TMO Lead on project status, risks, and key milestones, helping standardize PMO methodologies and best practices across the organization.
  • Lessons Learned: Identify and implement lessons learned for broader application across projects, supporting the development and deployment of the PMO playbook and toolkit.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects with a proven track record of successful delivery.
  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Proven ability to develop and execute project management strategies, governance frameworks, and methodologies within a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required; Master's degree in Business Administration or Project Management is strongly preferred.
  • Certifications: Formal certification in Project Management (PMP) or Program Management (PgMP) is strongly preferred; certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM) are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities to track project health and drive better outcomes, crisis management experience, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
