CNC Machinist

RADIUS AEROSPACE INC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating various machine tools, including 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, precision grinders, and other equipment to produce high-precision metal parts, mechanisms, tools, and machines.

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup.
• Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, routers, and grinders.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors like speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
• Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications and ensure accurate dimensions and alignment of assemblies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
