Job Description: Our client, a reputable hospital in Columbia, SC, is seeking an experienced Urology MD/DO for a locum tenens position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various urological conditions, including bladder and prostate cancer, urinary frequency, and kidney stones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general urology care and treatment
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds and C-Arm procedures
- Collaborate with support staff, including RNs and CMAs, to ensure seamless patient care
- Meet productivity standards, seeing approximately 18-25 patients per full day clinic
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Urology
- Current SCDEA licensure
- Experience with bladder and prostate cancer treatment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
