Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Mencom Corporation. This position requires a strong background in precision machining and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, and operate Citizen Swiss and Miyano CNC Lathes to produce high-quality tooling and prototypes.
  • Program and operate 3-axis mills to meet production requirements.
  • Conduct dimensional evaluations of parts produced and tooling used to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest machining technologies and techniques to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience programming in Miyano/Mitsubishi control systems.
  • 5 years of experience in a toolroom/machine shop setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC operations.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Familiarity with calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (required).
  • Tech/Trade school (preferred).
