Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a skilled Assembler 1st Shift to join our team in ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment and maintaining a safe working environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues or concerns to management
• Operate hand tools and power equipment as needed to complete tasks
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Electrical experience/knowledge preferred
• HVAC experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor and outdoor)
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Vision corrected to 20/20
