Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dietary assessments and food preference evaluations upon resident admission.
- Design, implement, and maintain menus that cater to the specific needs of our residents.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness adheres to all State and Federal regulations.
- Oversee purchasing activities within the dietary department, aligning with the facility's budget.
- Manage all facets of kitchen operations, including procurement, sanitation, staffing, training, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with various departments to respect and accommodate residents' dining preferences and routines.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation related to dietary care plans.
Qualifications:
- ServSafe Certification is required within the first 90 days of employment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Preferred candidates will have at least two years of supervised food service experience in a healthcare or institutional setting, focusing on meal planning and dietary services.
