Join a dynamic team at Albany Medical Center as an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Pulmonary and Renal Services department. This role involves coordinating, planning, and administrative management duties in collaboration with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan administrative management, financial, and operational duties
  • Mentor professional caregivers in patient care delivery and facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions
  • Provide leadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursing unit staff
  • Assure competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services

Requirements:

  • Collaboration with Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Ability to assure competent, compassionate patient care
  • Support for policy, program, and service development

Salary Information:

Salary Min: $80,151

Salary Max: $132,249
