Site Reliability Engineer, Services Engineering, Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Apple Services Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems that provide secure, scalable, and highly available services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable and secure networking solutions for our services
- Collaborate with developers and architects to improve stability, security, and scalability of our services
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Work closely with the Traffic SRE team to provide secure, scalable connectivity between workloads, services, and clusters
- 5+ years of experience in Linux operating system, standard networking protocols, and components
- 5+ years of experience in load balancing and proxying or software-defined networking
- 5+ years of proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Golang, Rust, or Java
- Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
- Experience operating Kubernetes
At Apple, we offer a competitive salary range of $135,400 to $250,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. You will also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through our discretionary employee stock programs.
