We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hematology and Medical Oncology team at CHRISTUS Spohn hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients, utilizing your expertise in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with physicians to prepare equipment and assist during examinations and treatments.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of patient care as a primary nurse, associate nurse, team member, or team leader.
- Provide leadership and direction to support staff within the department.
The Medical Surgical Ortho/Neuro and Oncology unit at CHRISTUS Spohn hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional care for both Ortho and Inpatient Oncology patients. Our team is passionate about delivering compassionate care to our oncology population, creating an environment that fosters physical and emotional healing.
Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Two years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Oncology Clinical Nurse Certification (ONCTM) (Chemo) or Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) preferred.
