Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing surveillance to track infection rates within the organization.
  • Notify health department authorities of reportable diseases.
  • Facilitate regular training sessions on infection control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and provide training for healthcare staff in CPR and First Aid.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • Certification as a CPR Instructor.
  • Strong understanding of infection control principles.
  • Participation in Infection Control seminars is advantageous.
