Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer nursing care and evaluate its effectiveness
  • Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care
  • Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered LPN license in the state of employment
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff
