We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN Endoscopy to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our Endoscopy Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for patient care.
- Responsible for planning, directing, and providing nursing care to patients in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and the Endoscopy Unit's clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Utilize time management skills, independent critical thinking, nursing assessments, and technical skills to care for the specific patient population of the unit.
- Collaborate with admissions, phase II recovery, and discharge of patients, as well as assist physicians with procedures performed within the unit.
- Must be proficient in IV insertion.
- New Hampshire Licensed Registered Nurse or RN Compact license.
- 2-year Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- 1-3 years of RN experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
