We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity.

The successful candidate will have five-plus years of litigation experience and a strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skillset.

Responsibilities include investigating potential cases, drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions, managing discovery, meeting with defense counsel, taking and defending depositions, participating in settlement negotiations and mediations, attending hearings, communicating with clients, and other tasks as assigned.

A key aspect of this role is working closely with the team to integrate into our complex civil litigation practice.

Strong candidates will have experience with class action or other complex civil litigation and be able to prioritize multiple projects effectively.

In terms of compensation, M&R takes all its cases on a contingency-fee basis, which means that attorneys' fees are recovered from corporate defendants only when a case is successfully resolved.

Pay for attorneys is constrained by the nature of this practice, which enables the firm to serve mostly working-class clientele at no out-of-pocket cost to them.

Eligible for bonuses, associates are also eligible for an annual holiday bonus and annual pay raise, base salary of $120,000 a year.

Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with matching, and 20 days vacation.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the ability to work twice a week from the firm's Washington D.C. office.
