Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Danbury Senior Living. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, under the direction of the Executive Chef.
• Assist in serving meals as needed and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.

• One year of cook or dietary experience, preferably in a senior living or assisted living setting.
• A great attitude, patience, and a love of working with seniors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
