Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Norman, OK. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a customer-service-friendly environment. Our team focuses on providing superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the needs and expectations of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
* Evaluate staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
* Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
* Receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders.
* Implement and evaluate care plans.
* Identify/secures equipment supplies
* Directs/oversees subordinates.
* Participates in duty assignments.
* Organizes/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
* Oversees/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
* Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
* Monitor's infection control compliance.
* Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.

Requirements:

* Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
* Previous skilled nursing experience
* Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
