Job Title: Heating Systems Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heating Systems Technician to join our team at Katmai. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on a wide range of heating systems equipment. If you have a strong background in HVAC and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating systems equipment, including diagnostic testing and troubleshooting
* Install and replace heating systems components, including coils, fans, and thermostats
* Conduct energy audits and recommend energy-saving solutions to clients
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in high-rise building maintenance
* 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Universal EPA Certification
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
* Knowledge of ASHRAE regulations
* Strong attendance record and punctuality

Work Environment:

* Work is primarily performed in an office setting and/or building
* May be exposed to sharp objects, heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead, and vibration
* Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies

Physical Demands:

* Ability to bend, reach, stretch, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
* Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds
