The Athletic Event Staff Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of sporting events. This position involves various responsibilities including ticket sales, gate management, and providing assistance to attendees. Staff members will engage directly with teams, coaches, spectators, and officials, serving as the first point of contact for inquiries and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for teams, coaches, spectators, and officials
  • Process ticket sales accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain financial accountability
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve ticket-related issues in a professional manner
  • Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to address on-the-job challenges
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor while interacting with the public
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse audience
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with school officials, event staff, parents, students, and fans
Requirements:
Candidates must have the following documentation on file prior to commencing work:
  1. Current favorable background checks
  2. Negative drug test result
All employees are expected to adhere to organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and the ethical standards set forth by the relevant educational authorities. Successful candidates will be required to complete any training courses as designated by the Athletic Director.
