Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled tradesperson to join our team at Johnson Construction Inc. as a Handyman.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Handyman to utilize their skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more to perform new and existing structure repairs and maintenance work on commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair defects in structures, fixtures, and equipment
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment to access and replace defective parts
  • Install new parts and components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, replacing filters, and performing preventive maintenance actions
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to job site safety rules
  • Use and care of ladders, tools, and other equipment
  • Problem solve and make corrective measures as needed
  • Follow instructions on work orders and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a handyman or general maintenance worker
  • Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Any relevant certifications or licenses
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and maintain a clean driving record
