Williamson Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory Surgery department. As a Senior Perioperative Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and providing emotional support to patients and families.

About the Role

This position requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely and effective patient care, while maintaining a therapeutic environment for diverse patient populations.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Ambulatory PACU Phase 1 or 2 and possess ACLS certification. We offer a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ambulatory pre- and post-anesthesia patient care and pain service patient care in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to effectively coordinate the delivery of patient care.
  • Plan for and provide education, emotional, and psychosocial support for patients and families.
  • Maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Requirements
  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
  • Licensed in the state of Tennessee.
  • ACLS certification.
  • One year experience in Ambulatory PACU Phase 1 or 2.
