Position Overview

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing challenges with substance use.

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor is responsible for conducting assessments and delivering treatment through various therapeutic modalities. This role may also include providing DUI services, contingent upon appropriate training and credentials. Below is a summary of the key responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Deliver clinical services, including individual and group counseling, case management, and early intervention strategies to clients with substance use disorders, adhering to the American Society of Addiction Medicine Placement criteria.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive written and verbal reports to referral sources, ensuring compliance with all Bridgeway standards.
  • Conduct DUI evaluations and facilitate Risk Education classes for clients, provided the necessary credentials and training are obtained.
  • Administer urinalysis and breath testing as required.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required, or candidates may possess one to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Reliable transportation is essential for this role. Employment with Bridgeway is contingent upon the successful completion of all background checks.
