Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Wichita, Kansas with Competitive Salary

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita. As a member of our dynamic and compassionate care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services to patients in need.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented Pediatric Hospitalist to partner with us in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our hospital's pediatric program.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management as needed.
- Join a team of compassionate Pediatric Hospitalists working together to provide a rotating schedule that promotes variety in daily work.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians, acting as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs such as medical education and research as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation meeting insurance company requirements, appealing all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
