MDS Coordinator

Job Summary:
MVP Recruitment, LLC is seeking an experienced RN MDS Coordinator to join our team at a 80-bed Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center located in the Newton, MA area.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate the completion of resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate documentation and coding for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursements.
Develop and update comprehensive care plans based on the assessment findings.
Work closely with the Case Manager as a backup, assisting with case management duties as needed.
Participate in the manager on duty rotation, contributing to the overall leadership and management of the center.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain the highest standards of care.

Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MDS coordination in a skilled nursing or rehab setting.
Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0 and RAI guidelines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
